Hygienists

Alyssa is an Eckman Family Dentistry legacy! Her mom, Tracy, is also one of EFD’s hygienists and the two spend most of their time together working out of the Jennersville office. Alyssa has been in dentistry for 8 years, all of which have all been here with us at EFD. In her own words, “Eckman Family Dentistry is where it’s at, forever and always.” She also describes EFD as “A fun place to work with lots of laughs where everyone makes you feel like family.” On top of her love for dentistry and EFD she has 3 “kids” that she is crazy about, Siberian Huskies named Buck, Bolt, and Bear and loves spending time outside with them. She is also an avid runner and snowboarder and enjoys keeping an active/healthy lifestyle.

Tracy is a cornerstone of the hygiene team here at EFD and has been with us for 13 of her 28 years in dentistry, mostly in our Jennersville office. She is the mother of our hygienist Alyssa and says one of her favorite things about working at EFD is getting to work with her. The former orthodontic assistant/clinical manager-turned-hygienist has a passion for treating gum disease and claims her favorite part of dentistry is, “aiding in returning a patient’s mouth to a healthy state.” She and her husband Jim have two kids, Matthew and Alyssa, a grandson named Chayse, and a Yorkie named Duncan. Dentistry aside, Tracy loves being in the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Kelly is currently in her 13th year of dentistry after getting her start as a dental assistant with EFD back in 2005 before entering hygiene school. Upon graduation, she spent 7 years with another practice before coming back on staff with EFD 3 years ago. She enjoys dental hygiene at EFD because it allows her “to meet new people and form relationships in a family-like atmosphere.” When she is not cleaning teeth in the office, you can find her enjoying placing sealants on children’s permanent molars. An avid dog lover, Kelly states that the loves of her life are her fur-babies Winston and Leroy. When outside of the office, Kelly spends time with her husband mostly outside hiking or going to the beach. She also has a passion for knitting and baking.
